Authorize Developer Portal

Developer Portal authorization lets Kerrigan access Developer Portal backed image channels, including Modalix GA firmware images.

Start Authorization

In the dashboard:

  1. Sign in as a System Admin.
  2. Open System.
  3. Select Developer Portal.
  4. Choose Authorize Developer Portal.
  5. Complete the browser authorization flow in the new tab.

Kerrigan polls the login flow until it is authorized, expired, or failed.

Relevant API endpoints:

GET /v1/developer-portal/status
POST /v1/developer-portal/login
GET /v1/developer-portal/login/{flow_id}
POST /v1/developer-portal/logout

Token Storage

Developer Portal tokens, including the refresh credential, remain in host-local Fleet Manager storage. Deployments may override that storage location through Fleet Manager configuration; keep it private and persist it across service upgrades.

When a device bundle explicitly enables Kerrigan-managed Developer Portal authorization, Fleet Manager projects only short-lived access-token state to eligible DevKits. See Device bundle policies and upgrades for rollout, renewal, and removal behavior.

Staging Mode

Developer Portal auth uses the normal environment by default. For staging:

KERRIGAN_DEVELOPER_PORTAL_STAGING=1

The legacy USE_STAGING_DEV_PORTAL=true environment value is also recognized.

Unauthorize

Use Unauthorize in the Developer Portal tab to remove the locally saved tokens. After logout, Developer Portal image channels remain visible but cannot sync or download until authorization is completed again.
